Attention: Candidates will no longer be fingerprinted at the
Fulton-Holland Educational Services CenterThe Palm Beach County School District is committed to keeping our students and staff members safe. All employees, student teaching interns, charter school employees, vendors, consultants, and contractors will need to submit fingerprints and undergo a background check.
When applicants are offered a job and conditionally approved for hire, the Department of Recruitment & Retention will email a job offer letter and directions on how to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting. It is imperative that the candidate receive the instructions from the appropriate department.
Individuals must register online to schedule an appointment for fingerprint and photograph services. Fingerprinting sites are located throughout the United States. For the nearest Fieldprint Livescan location, please visit their website.

How to Pay for Your Badge
Fees must be paid before fingerprint resubmission and/or badge printing at https://palmbeach.schoolcashonline.com
If you do not have a SchoolCash Online account, you will need to register for an account.
For questions regarding ID and Access Badges, please contact the School Police Office at identification@palmbeachschools.org or call (561) 434-8300.
For questions regarding fingerprinting, background reports, and resubmission fees, please contact HR Operations at fingerprinting@palmbeachschools.org or call (561) 434-8821.
Note: Paying for a 5-year resubmission does not guarantee clearance. A 5-year resubmission requires HR Operations to conduct a background screening.
There are no refunds for 5-year resubmission fees once an individual has been submitted to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Vendor badges automatically expire after 5 years. Vendors will have to be re-fingerprinted to receive a new badge. Please contact the District personnel you will be working with or call HR Operations (561) 434-8821 for directions to re-fingerprint.

School District Employees (Regular, Temporary, Substitute)
All new recommended hires (instructional/non-instructional), will be processed using the new vendor, Fieldprint. An HR representative from the School District will give the applicant instructions regarding registering for fingerprints and payment.
The candidate will use the instructions to register for fingerprints and provide a “Fieldprint code”. This code will be included in the instructions. Candidates will no longer be fingerprinted at the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center after June 30, 2022.
• $99 Initial Fingerprint Fee. Funded by the School District effective May 12, 2022 for School District employees (regular/temporary) only.
• $6 Annual Maintenance Fee*
• $19.25 every five (5) years for required resubmission to FDLE and FBI*
*Florida Statute 1012.32 requires that all School District employees have their fingerprints resubmitted to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) every five (5) years. The District is charged a fee by FDLE ($6 per person annually and $19.25 per person on the five-year resubmission date). Therefore, all regular employees will have a payroll deduction of either $6 or $19.25 on the first paycheck in June.Badge Renewals:
• Substitutes and Temporary workers will need to have badges renewed between April 1 and June 30 of the year that they expire. The badge renewal fees which include the above law enforcement fees are as follows: $10 for an annual badge renewal or $23.25 for a five-year renewal.
• Substitutes should contact the Substitute Office in Recruitment and Retention for badge renewal procedures.
• Temporary workers should contact their department head for instructions on badge renewal.

$87.42 every five (5) years.
Badges are issued with an expiration date of five years from the initial fingerprinting. Vendors must be fingerprinted again at the time of expiration and pay the fee.All fingerprinting is completed through a separate company. You must schedule an appointment using directions and a code provided by the School District.
Fingerprinting Instructions
Beginning April 12, 2024, the previous vendor fingerprinting code will be inactivated and no longer work. In order to make a fingerprinting appointment, you must contact the department or school you work with to receive an updated code. In order to work on campuses, all vendors/contractors/consultants must be cleared through fingerprinting and a background screening. This includes the following:- Bid-awarded vendors/contractors/consultants
- Subcontractors
- Sub-consultants
- Professional service consultants
- Companies providing services for special events on campuses (e.g. food trucks, book fairs, school pictures, etc.)
- All employees including temporary employees working for any of the above
How to Get Fingerprinting Directions?
Contact the department or school(s) that you will be working with or providing services. The point of contact will provide you with fingerprinting instructions and your specific code for registering with Fieldprint, Inc.Why a Special Code?
You need to receive a specific fingerprinting code to track which department or school you are working with. Failure to use the code provided will result in your background not being received and your fee lost.Not Sure Which Department or School?

Call our office in Human Resources and we will provide you the information to create an account with our fingerprinting company. Once you create an account you will get invoiced for your employees’ fingerprinting fees.Mandatory Reporting of Arrests
Once vendors are cleared to work on campuses, they are mandated by Florida law to report any disqualifying arrests. Vendor employees and vendor companies should report arrests to Human Resources at the information below. Vendors with disqualifying offenses are not allowed on campuses. Failure to report arrests may result in being prohibited from working with the School District and constitute a violation of Florida Statute 1012.467.The following Florida Statutes govern the fingerprinting, clearance, and self-reporting of arrests:
