Dr. Shakeica Robinson - Principal
Dr. Shakeica Robinson
PrincipalDr. Robinson is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in education. Dr. Robinson brings a wealth of expertise to Royal Palm Beach High School. She served as Assistant Principal at Santaluces High School for 7 years and as Principal at Tradewinds Middle School for 2.5 years, focusing on student achievement and school culture. Prior to her leadership roles, Dr. Robinson was a math teacher at Royal Palm Beach High School and the Varsity Cheer Coach. Dr. Robinson is committed to fostering a supportive environment where every student can thrive academically and personally. She looks forward to leading Royal Palm Beach High School to new heights of excellence.

Barbara Cote - Assistant Principal
Ms. Barbara Cote
Assistant PrincipalBarbara Victoria Cote is Assistant Principal at Royal Palm Beach High School. Mrs. Cote was born in the Dominican Republic but grew up in West Palm Beach. She is a proud graduate of Forest Hill High School. Mrs. Cote graduated from Lynn University with a Master's in Exceptional Student Education and Specialist Degree from Barry University in Educational Leadership. With over 15 years in the field of education, Mrs. Cote is a dedicated and experienced educational professional with a passion for fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student success. Mrs. Cote is working on her doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University in Curriculum and Teaching. She believes in the power of collaboration and actively encourages teamwork among faculty members to ensure students' best possible educational experience.
Prior to joining the administrative staff at Royal Palm Beach High School, Mrs. Cote worked as an ESOL Instructional Specialist for the Multicultural Department of Palm Beach County School District.

B. Derrick Gilbert - Single School Culture Coordinator
Mr. B. Derrick Gilbert
Single School Culture CoordinatorAs a product of Palm Beach County School District education, Mr. Gilbert went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Bethune-Cookman University and his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. With a focus on social and culturally relevant frameworks, Mr. Gilbert was honored as both a Harvard Professional Education and Stanford University School of Design Thinking Fellow. He is proud to have served the Royal Palm Beach community as an English and Reading teacher for nearly 11 years. As the school's current Single School Culture Coordinator (SSCC), Mr. Gilbert claims the privilege of creating an ecosystem of support for teachers, administration, students, and families.
What Mr. Gilbert is most proud of is his family.
He is the proud husband to his wife, Demi Gilbert as well as the proud father to his son Kay Omar, and his daughters, Branae Alyss and Bailey Annette. Mr. Gilbert loves to spend time with his family while traveling, playing the piano, and reading. As a local youth pastor and administrator, he believes that school should be a place that reflects high family values such as trust, support, grace, and love. Mr. G also believes that leading with love, honor, and respect is what makes a good school great and a strong community stronger.

Lisa Jones - Assistant Principal, Curriculum
Ms. Lisa Jones
Assistant Principal, CurriculumLisa Jones is a 1993 graduate of Frostburg State University in Maryland where she earned two Bachelor of Science Degrees, one in Early Childhood Education (PK-3) and one in Elementary Education (K-8). After graduation, Ms. Jones taught one year in Pennsylvania before coming to Palm Beach County to teach 4th grade at U.B. Kinsey Palm View Elementary School.
In 1997, Ms. Jones was on the inaugural faculty of the Middle School of the Arts (now known as BAK Middle School), where she taught science for three years before becoming the school’s ESOL Coordinator. While there, Ms. Jones earned her Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership, from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
In 2001, Ms. Jones began her career in administration by becoming an Assistant Principal at Okeeheelee Middle School. Not long after, in 2003, Ms. Jones accepted the lead Assistant Principal position of the newly constructed Jeaga Middle School. In 2005, Ms. Jones accepted an assistant principal position at Royal Palm Beach High School, a position she currently holds.
Throughout her 13 years as an Assistant Principal at Royal Palm Beach High School, Ms. Jones, has been a stalwart member of the administrative team and integral in all of the school’s initiatives. For the last two years, Ms. Jones has served as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and has been particularly responsible for growing the newly created IB and JROTC programs.
A native of Somerset, Pennsylvania, Ms. Jones is a 23-year resident of Palm Beach County and currently resides in Loxahatchee.

Misty Lingerfelt - Assistant Principal
Mrs. Misty Lingerfelt
Assistant PrincipalMisty Lingerfelt graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washburn University in Topeka, KS with a degree in History and Secondary Education. She later earned a Master’s in Teaching and Learning as well as an Ed.S in Instructional Leadership. In addition to being an educator in Florida, Mrs. Lingerfelt has taught in KS, AZ, CA, and TN. “I appreciate getting to see the different pedagogical practices from coast to coast”.
Mrs. Lingerfelt moved to the district in 2019 and this is her 25th year in education. Prior to joining the administrative staff at Royal Palm Beach High School, she was an assistant principal for five years in Knoxville, TN. Currently, Mrs. Lingerfelt supports the ESE and Reading Departments as well as is a member of the Mental Health and School Based Team.
Mrs. Lingerfelt lives with her husband in Lantana. “I love being outside, that is my self-care activity of choice.” RPB is the place to be! Let’s have a great year 2023-2024 school year.

Adrian Seepersaud - Assistant Principal
Mr. Adrian Seepersaud
Assistant PrincipalMr. Seepersaud is a devoted family man; he and his wife have been married for 19 years and have three amazing girls aged 17, 16, and 12. He was born in England, spent some time in British Guyana, but emigrated to the US when he was 5. He grew up in New Orleans and considers it his hometown. After graduating from Jesuit High School in 1997, he moved to Florida. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Barry University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University.
After graduate work in Biomedical Sciences and gaining acceptance into Dental School, he decided to change careers and become a science teacher at Margate Middle in Broward County. He spent two years there until transitioning to Bear Lakes Middle. After 3 years he advanced to become an Instructional Specialist for Science. Two years later he became an assistant principal at Palm Beach Lakes High School after showing double digit academic growth in science at a high needs middle school.
He spent 5 incredible years there and had the privilege of working on the master board, discipline, and testing. Mr. Seepersaud is working on his Ph.D in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic Univeristy, his focus is Culturally Relevant School Leadership and Social Justice methodologies. He is now in his 8th year here at Royal Palm Beach High School. He hopes to one day be fortunate enough to serve as a principal and continue to serve the great citizens of Palm Beach County.
Mr. Seepersaud credits his inspiration to his family and a desire to be a part of positive social change.

Dan Snider - Assistant Principal
Mr. Daniel Snider
Assistant PrincipalMr. Snider has served the School District of Palm Beach County for over twenty-six years including serving as a classroom teacher, athletic coach, academic dean, and assistant principal. As a first-generation college graduate, Mr. Snider strives to inspire others so they can fully maximize their potential and assist in opening up doors of opportunity for all students. Mr. Snider loves traveling with his family and is the proud parent of identical twin sons who are attending college at the United States Air Force Academy and the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Alexandra Vetter - Assistant Principal, Adult & Community Education
Mrs. Alexandra Vetter
Assistant Principal, Adult & Community SchoolMrs. Vetter is a Michigander from Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 1986, she attended Eastern Michigan University earning her Bachelors of Science Degree in Education, Special Education, Art and an endorsement in Emotional Impairment. Her first teaching experience involved working in boys’ juvenile correctional facilities. Those experiences with the most at-risk youth led her to develop her management style of compassion and finesse. Mrs. Vetter is able to handle delicate and adversarial issues that consistently lead to positive resolutions. Wanting to expand her opportunity to help others she went back to Eastern Michigan to earn her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 1991.
Mrs. Vetter decided to trade in the cold Michigan winters for a warmer climate. In 1994, she left the car capitol of the world for the famous tropical, sandy beaches of Florida. During her tenure in Palm Beach County, her experience, leadership, and drive to help students has led to a multitude of career opportunities. During her career in Palm Beach County, she has served as a teacher, administrator, principal, and director. In 2003 and in 2005 she earned the CTA Outstanding Principal Award. Her drive to help at-risk students led her to create interagency services between the 15th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Judges and the School District of Palm Beach County leading to the creation of the Court Liaison Program. This program put a school district representative in the court to link school district resources with judicial services.
Always seeking new and interesting opportunities her career path continues at Royal Palm Beach High School as Assistant Principal for Adult and Community Education. She enjoys the excitement adult learns have for education.
