The District offers VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) in 65 schools.

To find your school and determine which program models are offered at your school, go to Find My School, put in your home address, and find the name of your zoned elementary school (home school). Click on each participating schools list in the chart below to determine if your home school offers one of the VPK programs listed in the first column.

VPK FEE SUPPORTED PROGRAMS:	The SDPBC VPK Fee Supported Programs prioritize full-day 8:00AM - 2:00PM (exact times vary) school year prekindergarten for students enrolled in the schools' fee VPK programs. Participating parents pay a fee for the full-day program enrichment hours. School Readiness (subsidy) vouchers are accepted for parent fees.	Fee Supported Schools Listed Below
VPK HEAD START PROGRAMS:	The SCPBC Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide fee comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low income children and families. Services are offered year round, from 7:30AM to 5:30PM (exact times vary).	Head Start Schools Listed Below
Contact a school directly for specific hours of operation and the possible availability of daily extended VPK Wraparound hours from 2:00PM up to 6:00PM offered at a separate fee.

*Through a partnership with the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Department, a select number of student seats in the schools marked by an asterisk are reserved for the placement of students with disabilities by ESE based on IEP recommendations, at no cost to parents.
