An EKG (electrocardiogram) technician is responsible for operating electrocardiogram equipment to record the electrical activity of patient’s hearts.
The program includes overview of the human anatomy and physiology with emphasis on cardiac and vascular systems, medical terminology, patient care techniques, medical instrumentation, interpretation of monitoring and testing results, safe and efficient work practices, CPR and Basic Life Support.
In addition, you will be developing your Career Portfolio with one of our Career Counselors and learn about the employment opportunities that await you.

- EKG Aide MEA0540 - 75 hours
- EKG Technician MEA0541 - 300 hours
This program will put you on the path for employment opportunities as an EKG Technician upon completing the educational training and requirements.
