FL High School Diploma Classes
We offer three options in Adult Education to help you earn a State of Florida High School Diploma.
- ABE/GED Classes prepare you to successfully complete all four GED® subject tests which will earn you a State of Florida High School Diploma.
- Adult High School (AHS) classes are available for students who have been out of school and need a couple of courses to get their high school diploma. Students who have passed Mathematics and Reading graduation assessments and need only 5 courses would benefit from the program. It takes approximately 3 to 4 months to complete a course.
- Take the FAST - Reading Retake
- Did you receive a certificate of completion? Are you missing the reading portion of the FCAT, FSA, or FAST in order to earn your High School Diploma?
- The FAST test ELA includes only Reading. There is no writing.

Students who are 16 or 17 years old must withdraw from school prior to taking the 2014 GED(R) test.
Effective November 1, 2024 the parent or legal guardian must submit a signed and notarized Underage Testing Form.
1. Create an account at GED.com
2. Obtain proof of withdrawal from the last school attended.
3. Complete Florida GED Testing Program Underage Testing Form (FGED-01)
4. Send form to GEDagewaiver@fldoe.org

Accommodations
Class Accommodations For Students With Disabilities
Adult learners with disabilities are responsible for self-identifying the need for accommodation.
Students who would like to speak to someone about their need for accommodation in the classroom or for placement testing should complete the Accommodations Conference Request Form 2404.
Appropriate and up-to-date documentation/diagnostic information from a medical professional should be attached and submitted.Steps to take:
- Fill out Accommodation Conference Request Form 2404
- Attach documentation from a medical professional
- Submit to School Coordinator
Test Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
GED® Testing Services provides reasonable and appropriate accommodation for individuals with documented disabilities who demonstrate a need for accommodation.

Request an official Florida GED® Exam Credential/Transcript
How do I request an official Florida GED® Credential/Transcript?
For diplomas earned on or after January 1, 2014: Original credentials will be sent via email to the candidate, usually the same day. The email will include information on how to order hard copies. There is no charge for original credentials, including the electronic and paper version.
Duplicate credential requests can be made by logging in to ged.com
Use the login at the top right of the page.
Select the My Scores tab.
Click the Order Duplicates button on the Scores page.For diplomas earned before January 1, 2014: Candidates will request credentials from GED Credentialing™ by clicking here.
All diploma verification will be handled through the appropriate duplicate diploma and/or transcript request process depending on the date earned.

Para conseguir el diploma GED® es necesario pasar el examen GED® que consiste en materias de Lectura y Escritura, Matemática, Estudios Sociales y Ciencias. Nuestras clases te ayudarán a estudiar para el examen GED®
Pasos para Comenzar:

Preséntate en la escuela donde deseas estudiar (aun si quieres estudiar en línea).

Debes de tener 16 años de edad o más.

Debes de estar oficialmente retirado del programa escolar K-12.

Al registrarte, te haremos un examen de evaluación que nos ayudará a determinar tu nivel académico.

Inscríbete en una clase que sea conveniente para ti y tu horario.

Cuando desees tomar el examen de GED® comunícate con tu instructor para registrarte.
El examen GED® es reconocido internacionalmente. Una vez que lo hayas aprobado satisfactoriamente, el diploma certificará que has obtenido los conocimientos necesarios para graduarte del bachillerato.
