The School Advisory Council, North Grade PTO and staff voted to implement the following mandatory dress code to ensure that the focus be on academic success. The dress code will be strictly enforced.
Shirts (Tops): Collared (polo) shirts ~ solid colors of light blue, navy blue, or white. No sleeveless
shirts or tank tops, muscle shirts or midriff shirts are permitted.Bottoms: Khaki or navy blue pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers. No baggy bottoms are permitted. Belts are not required.
Clothing and shoes should be selected that will not be disruptive or unsafe. Thong-type shoes (flip-flops) and high heels should not be worn, as they are dangerous during outdoor play. Sneakers or flat shoes are appropriate. Hats are permitted in physical education only.
Friday Dress Code:
Friday is Tiger Pride Day. Students may wear North Grade T-Shirt and jeans or regular dress code.Dress Code Violation
Students who are not following the dress code will be sent to the office to call home for a change of
clothing.
