The Power of the To Do List
Studies have shown that making a plan of our daily/weekly tasks relieves anxiety and improves our performance. Here are some tips for a successful to do list:
- Break down bigger tasks into smaller ones. For example, start with "outline my first paragraph" instead of "write my essay."
- Make your task details clear, specific, and to the point.
- Schedule your tasks and write down when you will complete them, be realistic.
- Keep your list to 5 tasks maximum at a time.
