Dress Code

    Monday – Thursday school dress code (Including during cold weather)

    • Pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers
      • Color choices: black, navy or khaki.
      • All shorts, skirts, and jumpers may be no shorter than extended fingertips.
      • Leggings, joggers, exercise pants and pajamas are prohibited.
      • Belts are required in belt loops.  All pants must be at the waist.
    • Shirts
      • Polo style or blouse in any color.
      • No logo is required on collared shirts.
      • Egret Lake uniform T-shirts with a small left side logo 
    • Mandatory dress code must be followed on all field trips. 
    • Outerwear should be for cold weather only.
      • Outerwear may not be oversized or excessively baggy. 
      • Consider purchasing a heavier pair of khaki or navy-blue slacks for colder weather, as jeans are not permitted on any day but Friday.
      • Hoodies or caps are worn outside and taken off inside.
    • Closed-toe shoes must be worn (No sandals, Crocs, flip-flops or open-back shoes will be allowed).
      All shoes - Cover the entire foot (no sandals or toes/heels exposed even with socks)

    Friday ONLY “Spirit day” dress code:

    • Students may wear school-related T-shirts.  
    • Collegiate shirt (ex. FAU, FSU, UF, UM, FAMU, USF, UCF, BCU, etc.)
    • Blue denim is allowed only on Fridays.
        • No cut-offs, rips or tears
    • Shorts and skorts must be fingertip length


    According to school district policy, students are not allowed to wear or possess items that create a classroom distraction or school disorder.
