The Choice application for the 2025-2026 school year is now available at www.mypbchoiceapp.com.
Deadline Dates
December 6, 2024: A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts (all programs), Bak Middle School of the Arts (all programs), Boynton Beach Community High School (Arts programs), The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach (Grades 6-8), and West Boca Raton Community High School (Arts programs).
January 31, 2025: All other programs
Choice Program Eligibility
All applicants must meet residency, age, and program eligibility criteria. The parent/guardian and the student must be full-time residents of Palm Beach County at the time of application submission.Pre–K and Elementary School Programs
All students are eligible for Pre–K and Elementary Choice programs, as there are no eligibility criteria, with the exception of Dual Language programs.95% and Above Enrollment
Students who are zoned to attend a school that has a current enrollment of 95% or more will be able to apply to a 'like' Choice program that is being offered at another school, as their first choice. This list is generated using FTE data and consideration of current planning and status of facilities.These schools, identified as having a current enrollment of 95% or above, may have limited out-of-boundary Choice seats available.
Eligibility Criteria

Elementary School
All students are eligible for Pre-K and Elementary Choice programs.
The exception is the International Spanish Academy and Dual Language programs.
International Spanish Academy- All students applying after grade 1 may require an eligible score on a language assessment test.
Spanish Dual Language- Due to the rigor of Dual Language Programs after grade 1, applicants must receive an eligible score on a fluency exam to determine eligibility. Students entering a Spanish Dual Language Program for the first time in grades 2-5 must pass a fluency exam to determine eligibility prior to being made eligible for the Choice lottery.

Middle School
Bak Middle School of the Arts- Communication Arts, Dance, Music-Band, Music-Piano, Music-Strings, Music-Vocal, Theatre and Visual Arts
- Eligibility Criteria: Eligible Audition Score
Lake Worth Middle - Biomedical Sciences (FAU College of Medicine)
- Eligibility Criteria: A minimum of 3 or above on state assessments and an eligible score on an internal assessment which includes two essays and an interview.
Roosevelt Middle - Biomedical Sciences (FAU College of Medicine)
- Eligibility Criteria: A minimum of 3 or above on state assessments and an eligible score on an internal assessment which includes two essays and an interview.
The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach
- Music—Band and Music—Orchestral Strings (grades 6–8)
Eligibility Criteria: Eligible Audition Score
Middle School Spanish Dual Language or International Spanish Academy (ISA) programs require applicants to have an eligible score on a Spanish Assessment Test. All other middle school programs do not have any eligibility criteria.
