We are implementing the Character Now Program! Each month, classroom teachers can select two students from each class who best exemplify one of these seven character themes:

• Demonstrating Respect - October
• Being Responsible - November
• Being Generous and Helpful - December
• Being Honest and Trustworthy - January
• Showing Empathy and Kindness - February
• Demonstrating Tolerance - March
• Cooperating and Demonstrating Citizenship - April

Honorees will receive a Character Ed certificate, be recognized in the morning announcements, and pictures will be posted on the Character Now bulletin board. In May, from all students nominated throughout the school year, ONE is chosen randomly as the overall school representative to be honored at the end of the year at the district-level celebration.
