    This event will feature all Palm Beach County District Schools with available job openings. Many of our School District departments will also be hiring non-instructional personnel for all types of positions (paraprofessionals, aftercare workers, school food service, bus drivers, etc.). The positions will be for the current school year as well as next school year.

    The majority of the teaching positions will be in the subject areas listed below:

    Job offers will be made on site to eligible candidates. Certification can be confirmed on site or assistance is available on what steps are needed to acquire certification. New teachers start at $51,500 with a total compensation package of $76,000 with benefits and time off. 

    Palm Beach County also offers a retention supplement based on years of teaching experience. Those teachers with one to four years of experience are eligible for a $1,000 annual retention supplement. Five to nine years of experience earns a $5,000 annual retention supplement. Seasoned educators with 10 or more years of teaching experience qualify for a $10,000 annual retention supplement. This includes new teachers to the Palm Beach County School District with verified years of experience as a teacher.
