Media Center

  • Welcome to the Diamond View Media Center

    Media Specialist: Ms. Martello
    Media Clerk: Mrs. Halstead

The media program offers 21st-century instruction and technology, along with the latest print and electronic collections for all students, parents, and teachers.

All K-5 classes visit the Media Center as part of the Fine Arts rotation. Kindergarten and 1st-grade students can check out one book during each visit, while 2nd through 5th-grade students can check out two books at a time. During their visits, students also have opportunities to play and explore with STEM toys and activities in our Makerspace.

The Media Center hosts numerous events and literacy initiatives to boost reading engagement. We celebrate International Dot Day, Read for the Record Day, Florida Celebrates Literacy Week, Read Across America Day, March Book Madness, Book Fairs, and other exciting events.

We have established partnerships with community members and volunteers, including Tradewinds Middle School AVID students, Santaluces High School football players and cheerleaders, Palm Beach Sheriff's Officers, The Education Foundation, and Junior League of the Palm Beaches. These organizations and community members help promote and enhance our literacy events and programs.

Additionally, the Media Center hosts various clubs and broadcasts our school's morning announcements daily.

Our Media Center programs enhance students' literacy skills, foster a love for reading, and support academic growth and improvement.
