Through this program, you and your team will engage in activities that cover engineering, design, marketing, project management, and drone operation. The season is structured around a continuous process of planning, designing, making, testing, and racing your drone. This hands-on experience not only enhances technical abilities but also fosters teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Sponsored by FPL, Drones in School is an invaluable program that prepares students for future careers in STEM fields and beyond, making it an essential part of modern education.

- Law Club/Law Honor Society - The Law Club will provide its members with an invaluable opportunity to learn more about the field of Law and to become involved with current and future practitioners. To further our goal of building an active Law Club at Palm Beach Lakes High School, guest speakers will be invited to campus to discuss various aspects of a career in Law. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with practitioners as well as earn internships during social events.

- Mock Trial and Debate - The PBLHS Mock Trial Team is a group of students dedicated to competitive Law competition. The Mock Trial Team goes head-to-head against other local high schools from all across Florida and the United States. Although most members plan to have a career in a law-related profession, participants learn skills applicable to every person, no matter their career ambitions. Members develop critical thinking, public speaking skills, and the ability to form rational oral arguments on demand. Involvement on the team also entails learning legal procedure and courtroom etiquette.

- Biotech Club - The Biotech Club plans PBIS Incentive day activities and plans community outreach including, but not limited to, beach clean-ups, helping set-up community gardens, going to local hospitals and visiting with patients. Also, potential for field trips to local recycling centers, biotech companies and local community colleges for understanding biotechnology and the impact it has on our lives.

- M.A.T.E. R.O.V. underwater robotics - Build and test operate a submersible remotely operated vessel (ROV) in preparation of regional competition. Take tests required by M.A.T.E. and travel to the site selected for competition. Demonstrate submersible during Indian River Lagoonfest. Not open to all students. Mr. Sedlacek is the primary sponsor and will decide the suitability of the new candidates.
