Grow Our Own Opportunity for Non-instructional Employees with Ten or More Years of Experience Who Become Teachers
Great news for non-instructional employees who become teachers through our District’s “Grow Our Own” initiatives! If you've dedicated ten or more years to non-instructional job roles within the District and meet the certification requirements to transition into a teaching position, we offer a valuable opportunity.
Qualified employees will be credited with up to five years of experience, starting your teaching career with a salary of $53,650. In addition, you'll receive a $5,000 referendum supplement, elevating your total starting compensation to $58,650. We also guarantee that your salary will not decrease from what you were earning as a non-instructional employee if higher than the established teacher salary.
