State law requires School Boards to collectively bargain with recognized employee organizations. The Department of Labor Relations represents the School Board and the Superintendent in negotiations with four employee organizations:- The Association of Educational Secretaries and Office Professionals (AESOP)
- The Palm Beach County Classroom Teachers Association, Inc. (CTA)
- The Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association (PBA)
- The Service Employees International Union/Florida Public Services Union (SEIU/FPSU)
