The School District of Palm Beach County recognizes the benefit of Wellness for their students and staff, from increased productivity and performance to improved health and decreased stress. The District has several programs in place to address Wellness, as well as a Wellness Promotion Task Force that meets regularly to showcase what is being done throughout the District, and to gather resources from our community that can assist in our health and wellness goals.

To assist us in carrying out our goals, the school district invites you to participate by considering a sponsorship in any amount of $500 to $5000, that will help fund one of the activities below. All philanthropic gifts made to the school district through the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County are tax-deductible.

Activities:

• Supplying incentives and rewards for employee participation in Wellness.
• Funding the purchase of standing desks for desk-bound employees or FitBits for FitBit challenges aimed at increasing employee movement.
• Supporting the Workplace Wellness awards, to fund special projects at the schools/locations to promote healthier lifestyles for our employees.
• Funding district-wide programs such as Colorweeks and Staff Sports.
• Subsidizing employee gym memberships.
• Helping to fund GoNoodle for brain breaks in our classrooms.
• Helping to fund School Gardens and garden recognition.
• Helping to fund a new Nutrition and Wellness Education Activity Guide for use in classrooms at elementary schools.
• Helping to fund school-based Healthy School Team supplies and initiatives.
• Supporting the annual Student Mental Health and Wellness Conference (a professional development day for employees and partners) by underwriting training and materials expenses.
  In exchange for your generosity, contributing businesses/organizations will receive the following:
