School Psychological Services

School Psychological Services is comprised of a team of school psychologists who serve all SDPBC schools and Charter schools. School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams who apply expertise in learning, behavior, and mental health to provide a continuum of services within a multi-tiered system to help all students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School Psychological Services strives to adhere to the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Model for Comprehensive and Integrated School Psychological Services in order to help ensure the delivery of high quality services.
School Psychology Internship Program
School Psychological Services (SPS) offers a broad, high-quality and culturally responsive internship experience that adheres to the NASP Best Practice Guidelines for School Psychology Internships and the NASP Practice Model. The SPS Internship Program provides training opportunities for both doctoral and specialist-level interns on a full-time basis over one academic school year.
