Information Technology In-House Academy

The Information Technology program offers an innovative, integrated learning environment focused on computers, technology, and communications. The program provides students with the training and skills necessary for careers, such as: Computer Operation, Computer Support, Electronics Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia & Web Design, Network Systems, PC Support and Word Processing, and Cybersecurity.
Why Information Technology?
The Information Technology Academy provides an innovative, integrated learning environment focused on computers, technology, and communications. The rigorous course content combined with the technical training will prepare students for career pathways leading to post-secondary education and career opportunities. Teachers incorporate varied instructional methods to meet the learning styles of their students. Students utilize printed materials, multimedia, demonstrations, and practical applications to master the instructional content.

Cybersecurity Track
8th/9th Grade: Computer Fundamentals (unless completed in 8th grade); ITS– Cloud Computing
9th/10th Grade: Web Technologies Honors; HTML 5 Application Development, HTML & CSS
10th/11th Grade: IT Systems & Applications Honors; ITS Device Configuration & Management
11th/12th Grade: Cybersecurity Fundamentals Honors; ITS Networking Security
12th Grade: AP Computer Science OR AICE Computer ScienceDigital Multimedia Track
8th/9th Grade: Computer Fundamentals (unless completed in 8th grade); ITS– Cloud Computing
9th/10th Grade: Web Technologies Honors; HTML 5 Application Development, HTML & CSS
10th/11th Grade: IT Systems & Applications Honors; ITS Device Configuration & Management
11th/12th Grade: Multimedia Technologies Honors; Adobe Photoshop & Premier Pro
12th Grade: AICE Info Tech ASGame and Simulation Track
8th/9th Grade: Computer Fundamentals (unless completed in 8th grade); ITS-Cloud Computing
9th/10th Grade: Web Technologies Honors; HTML 5 Application Development, HTML & CSS
10th/11th Grade: IT Systems & Applications Honors; ITS Device Configuration & Management
11th/12th Grade: Programming Essentials Honors; ITS JAVA, ITS Computational Thinking
12th Grade: Game and Simulation Programming Honors; Unity Certified User Programmer
