Dress Cose

  • Student IDs must be worn at all times while on campus. IDs may not be broken, altered or defaced.

    • Clothing, jewelry, buttons, etc. with words, phrases, symbols, pictures or insignia which are disruptive, obscene, profane, racist, suggestive or related to drug or alcohol use are not permitted. Clothing which is offensive is not allowed.
    • Appropriate clothing can be worn on approved SGA “dress up” days.
    • Dress code shirts, must be washed and returned the following day to Student Services

    TOPS (Applies to both male and female students)

    • Absolutely no halter-tops, tube tops/bandeaus, spaghetti-string tops, tank tops, sleeveless jerseys or racer tops.
    • All blouses, shirts, and tops must be high enough to eliminate exposure of cleavage and long enough to prevent excessive exposure of midriff, back or side.
    • Tops should not be sheer or see-through to where undergarment is exposed.

    BOTTOMS (Applies to both male and female students)

    • Shorts, skirts and dresses must reach the mid-thigh or fingertip length.
    • Bottoms should not be sheer or seethrough to where undergarment is exposed.
    • Bottoms must be worn in a way where all undergarments are covered.
    • Pants with rips in them must be appropriate and not excessive

    SHOES (Applies to both male and female students)

    • No bedroom slippers should be worn.

    HEADGEAR & ACCESSORIES (Applies to both male and female students)

    • No head covering of any kind (exceptions for medical or religious reasons).
    • This includes baseball caps, hats, hoods, bandanas, scarves and wave caps.
    • These articles will be confiscated.
    • Upon entering the school, only one earbud and one side of the headphones can remain on.
