We are part of the University of Cambridge. It helps students discover new abilities and a wider world, and gives them the skills they need for life, so they can achieve at school, university and work. How is a Cambridge classroom different?
- Students develop higher order thinking skills so that they can apply what they’ve learned.
- Students get to play an active role in the classroom; thinking critically, learning how to construct an argument and evaluate evidence, working independently, and collaborating with one another to bring a project to a successful outcome (and if it’s not successful, they’ll also learn lessons from reflecting on why that might be).
- Students will be encouraged to develop an international outlook, and become confident, global citizens.
- Students have to demonstrate understanding and the core knowledge of a subject, as well as think critically.
- Students will learn in a 1:1 digital environment in Cambridge classrooms.
