Where can I access the PIN for Parent Gateway?
You can reach out to your student’s Grade Level Office as well as the Main Office and they will send you your PIN.

How do I view my child's grades?
Once inside Parent Gateway, the homepage will display your student’s grades, absences (excused and unexcused), tardy’s and a list of their teachers.

How do I see/contact their teachers?
In the Homepage, the teacher’s list will be the first thing you see alongside the class name, grades, etc. Click on their name and a Pop-Up will appear that you can use to send them an email.

What does it mean if I see an "NG" or "*Exc" in my child's gradebook?
- NG stands for “No Grade” which means that the teacher has passed out the assignment but is in the process of grading these assignments.
- *Exc stands for “Excused” which means that the student is excused from these assignments given that they reported their absence with a Doctor’s note excusing them for their absence.

Can I send an email to a teacher in a language other than English?
Of course! You can send a teacher an email in whichever language you prefer and if a teacher needs assistance they will reach out to the Grade Level Office as there are staff members ready to help!

How can I tell when the assignment is due/assigned?
On the Parent Gateway SIS homepage, once you click on a student’s grade, the gradebook will appear with all of the students completed and uncompleted assignments. On the far right of each row, you will be able to see what day the assignment was handed, due and graded.

Who can I reach out to if I’m concerned about my child’s grades?
Reach out to the Grade Level office of your student and speak with your grade-level counselor or specific program counselor (ESE/ESOL) for assistance with your student’s grades and assignments.

Do I have to get a new PIN every year?
Nope! Once you create an account and attach yourself to your child’s account using the PIN we give you, you will have this account until the student graduates from the Palm Beach County School District system.
