ES 15-E/Binks Forest ES Rezoning Process - Superintendent's Recommended Study
Study 15E-4 Superintendent's Recommendation
At their November 7, 2024 ABC and Community Input meeting, the ABC members voted 9-3 to recommend “Study 3” to the Superintendent. After reviewing the meeting recording and the comments received from the public before, during and after the ABC meeting, the Superintendent adjusted the ABC’s recommended Study 15E-3 to retain the “Legacy Communities” of Fox Trail, Deer Run, and White Fences Estates at Binks Forest, rather than moving them to the new school. As such, in the Superintendent’s recommendation (Study 15E-4), the 15-E attendance zone would comprise the adjacent new developments of Arden and Lakehaven. The Superintendent’s adjustment retains approximately 55 additional students at Binks Forest, results in more balanced enrollment between the two schools, and addresses much of the public comment received. -
