Full-Time
Palm Beach Virtual School full-time enrollment serves students in grades 6-12 and is open to Palm Beach County residents. Full-time students are required to take six courses and must take all required state and district assessments. Dual enrollment, Early Admit, Advanced Placement, and other accelerated course options are available for those who meet the requirements.
The full-time application of interest
for school year 2024-2025 is closed.

Part-Time
Palm Beach Virtual School part-time enrollment is open to students who are enrolled in a full-time traditional brick-and-mortar school or who are designated as Home Education in the district. All PBVS part-time courses have rolling enrollment which allows students to register at any time during the school year. PBVS courses run on the school calendar and must be completed by the last day of the school year.
Florida students can take courses to successfully meet the FLDOE high school graduation requirements.
CHOOSE Palm Beach Virtual Franchise to enroll with the district's local virtual franchise of FLVS.
All courses must be approved by your school counselor or by the parent/guardian when enrolled in Home Education.

Palm Beach Virtual Franchise
Palm Beach Virtual Franchise is a franchise of Florida Virtual School offering a wide selection of Florida standards-based courses that utilize engaging, interactive lessons and content. Students request the course through the FLVS FLEX system and choose Palm Beach Virtual School when asked where to take the course.
PBVS (Palm Beach Virtual Franchise) offers multiple layers of local student support:
· Florida Certified Palm Beach County teachers (depending on course selection)
· Teacher availability Monday-Friday 8 a.m - 8 p.m. by phone, text, and email
· Courses are NCAA and Bright Futures approved

Edgenuity Virtual Academy
Edgenuity offers standards-based instruction using interactive tools and engaging multimedia to ensure students build content knowledge and essential skills. Original credit courses are NCAA approved and eligible for Bright Futures.
Multiple layers of student support are built in:
· Certified virtual teachers are available from M-F from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm by phone, text, and email.
· Concept Coaches (tutors) are available for immediate tutoring M-S from 8:00 am - 11:00 pm.
· Success Coaches (progress/success support)

Canvas at Palm Beach Virtual
Canvas is the chosen Learning Management System (LMS) for the State University System of Florida by the FL Board of Governors. Using Canvas provides students with preparation for post-secondary success.
This system is accessed through single sign-on directly in the student's SDPBC district portal. Simply submit the form below to be added to a course. The courses are taught in Canvas by Florida Certified Palm Beach County teachers.
