Welcome to Elementary Literacy!

In our world, the skills of reading and writing have never been more important. Our goal is to help students develop into skilled readers, writers, speakers, and thinkers and to increase in these abilities over time so that children are prepared for future challenges and opportunities.

For your child to grow, consistent practice with reading, writing, and speaking is necessary. Begin with supporting your child's at home reading for 20 minutes each evening. Making this a family activity or establishing a Family Reading Time will help to show your child that reading is important and is also something fun to do!
