John I Leonard now offers both Junior Varsity and Varsity Baseball for all to try out for each Spring, starting in January. Golf is an individual sport where players cantest their physical and mental strengths by learning to use a variety of clubs from different locations on the course. Soccer is an opportunity to take each member’s own unique abilities and experiences and unify these forces in order to be a part of a competitive team. We are determined to blend our experiences together and leave all of our differences on the sideline. Competitive swimming has over 200 skills of body position, breathing patterns, biomechanics, starts, turns, and psychological/competitive confidence that are trying to be taught in an unnatural human medium: water. Swimming takes grit and endurance to accomplish and is a very strenuous sport.

Wrestling is a physically demanding sport that requires a high level of dedication and commitment. The greatest thing is that anyone can do it; there are multiple weight classes, so students of all shapes and sizes may participate. Wrestling is a great sport for high school students as it’s challenging and will help build confidence, discipline, mental and physical ability amongst its participants.
