Maureen Carter Biography & Presentation
Maureen Carter has been an educator for 25 years. She was the former Holocaust Administrator for the School District of Palm Beach County for 10 years. She also served in the capacity of K-5 Social Studies as well. Maureen became involved with Centropa 10 years ago. Maureen is a teacher for an online private academy for international students.
A Different History: Jews, Holocaust, & Spanish Culture
In this 45 minute session, presenters will share resources from Centropa (www.centropa.org) for teaching about Sephardic Jews—Jews originally from Spain—and their experiences in the Holocaust.
