  • Choice Transportation Zones for Students

The School District of Palm Beach County Transportation Services Department is dedicated to partnering with schools, families, and communities to provide safe and efficient transportation in support of school programs and services. The School District requires that all bus riders register for their bus. Bus stops will only be available within the Choice Transportation Zone for each school and additional stops will not be created.

The School Board shall provide transportation for all students who are enrolled in Choice schools and programs who reside more than two miles from the choice school or program, and who reside within a designated choice transportation zone.

Bus stops for Choice schools or programs may be limited and may not be within walking distance of a student’s home. Choice bus routes average a longer ride time than routes to a zoned school.

Parents should visit the Transportation Bus registration website for more information.

Please login to your student portal and click on the "Register Your Ride" icon. Contact the Transportation Services Department at 561-357-1110 for transportation-related inquiries.

Students residing two miles or less from a school are not eligible for transportation per section 1011.68, Florida Statutes, and State Board of Education Rule 6A-3001, Basic Principles for Transportation of Students.
