Counselor's Corner

  • Mission Statement

The Counseling/Mental Health Department at Crosspointe Elementary is to increase equity and create opportunities for all students to succeed through individual, small and whole group counseling services by using empirically supported academic and social-emotional explicit instructions, inspiring students to become life-long learners. The department collaborates with staff, parents, families, caretakers, school parent-liaison, business partners and members of the community to engage all students in developmentally appropriate preventive responsive (SEL) and counseling/mental health services, resulting in academic performance, social/emotional competence, and college/career readiness growth.

    Vision Statement

The vision of the counseling Program at Crosspointe is for students to depart the school with the necessary tools needed to achieve academic, personal/social, and college/career success in  Elementary, Middle, High school, and beyond, and to enter the next phase of their education as responsible, respectful, and socially and emotionally competent individuals.
