Small Group Counseling is a very important piece to my comprehensive guidance program here at Beacon Cove Intermediate.  This time for students is a valuable time to work with their school counselor and other students to work through and develop skills to deal with life's difficulties.  We are pleased to offer these groups throughout the school year:

Grief

Changing Families (divorce)

Social Skills

Anxiety/Worry

Seeing Red (anger management)

Small group counseling is provided during the school day, for 30 minutes once a week.  Parent permission slip is requried to participate in the group.  Students are referred by school staff, parents and students themselves.
