Music - Band
-
The Tiger Sound Band Academy at Boynton Beach Community High School is comprised of Concert, Jazz, Marching and ensembles. They perform at halftime shows during football games, pep rallies, various local parades, campus events and Band Competitions. Band students focus on the development of sight-reading skills, improvisational skills, and performance techniques. Experiences in responding to music and connecting music to cultural influences are also a part of the overall course. The Tiger Sound Band is a well-rounded band and is expected to be able to play a wide variety of music, ranging from serious 'program music' to lighter 'pop-style' music.
