Isabel Campoy Biography
F. Isabel Campoy is the author of over 150 children’s books written in English and Spanish. She is a recognized speaker, researcher, and scholar devoted to the study of language acquisition, and Latino children’s literature. She obtained her degree in English Philology from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain with post graduate studies as a Fulbright scholar in UCLA. Among her many accolades are the Ramón Santiago Award from NABE and the Tomás Rivera Literature Award. She is a member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language.
