Carolina Abreu Biography & Presentation
Carolina Abreu is a multilingual lifelong learner who has worked in education for over a decade. Her journey with ESOL started when she moved to the United States from Brazil and became a middle school student in Palm Beach County. She currently works as an ESOL Professional Development Specialist at the Multicultural Department supporting the ELLs and ESOL teachers across the county.

As new immigrants from Latin America enroll in our schools each year, how can we affirm their history, culture and language? We will share with you some newcomers’ stories and resources available to promote a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for our immigrant students.
