Kenisha Coates Biography & Presentation

Kenisha Coates is a Secondary Literacy Instructional Specialist for The School District of Palm Beach County. Kenisha began her teaching career at Lake Worth Community High School in 2004. Since then she has taught Grades 6-12 ELA and Advanced Placement courses at both Palm Beach Lakes High School and Suncoast High School. After leaving the classroom, Kenisha transitioned to the Professional Development Department as a Peer Assistance and Review Consultant; providing coaching, modeling, and instructional support to K-12 teachers. Currently, Kenisha facilitates CLS courses. In addition, Kenisha supports 6-12 ELA and reading teachers in the North and Central regions with curriculum and professional development.
