  • Guitar Beginning

    This course is intended for individuals who have less than one year of experience playing the guitar. We will cover tablature (tabs), chords, picking, strumming and performance etiquette. Each week we will have a homework assignment to complete for the week including a practice log and worksheet to solidify the concepts learned during class. Each person is required to have their own guitar for this class.

    Listen to some of your favorite songs from a different perspective. The format of this course will be a Q&A so participants can state what they think the song is about (optional, no one has to talk); then the instructor will give the meaning of the song or the story behind the song; and then will play the song so that the participants can listen to the song anew. And while major artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Joan Baez, The Kinks, Phil Collins and more will have
