Mark is a 1988 graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Mark started his career as a facilities engineer in the power and manufacturing industries before joining Building Code Services (BCS) with the Palm Beach County School District in 2000.  In his tenure with BCS Mark has served as an inspector, plans examiner, facilities engineer, department manager, and director.  Mark is trained as an auditor of quality systems and is licensed as a Fire Safety Inspector, Professional Engineer, and a Certified Building Official.
