Kristin Garrison has been a planning professional for more than 35 years and joined the School District as its Planning Director more than 20 years ago. Prior to joining the District, Mrs. Garrison served as City Manager for the oceanfront Town of Gulf Stream located in southeast Palm Beach County. Previously, she served as Executive Director of Planning, Zoning & Building for Palm Beach County, overseeing six County Divisions. Kristin started her career in Austin Texas as a City Planner immediately after finishing her Graduate studies. Mrs. Garrison has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. In addition to being certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Kristin is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.
