Program Details
The Exploring Leadership Academy (ExLA) is designed to provide support for those who desire to serve in the role of a Leader (non-principal track and principal track) in the School District of Palm Beach County. Capitalizing on our school district’s goals, this program is designed to provide aspiring leaders with complex, relevant, and personalized learning opportunities to help prepare them to lead in our District schools. The target audience for the Exploring Leadership Academy (ExLA):
- Classroom teacher/school leader with at least one year of teaching experience and has successfully completed Educator Support Program (ESP) as well as holds professional certification.
- Classroom teacher/school leader with intent to pursue a non-principal leadership pathway:
- Instructional Coach (math, reading, science, etc.)
- Single School Culture Coordinator (SSCC)
- Instructional Specialist (reading, math, ESE, ELL, etc.)
- Classroom teacher/school leader with intent to pursue a principal leadership pathway:
- Assistant Principal
- Principal
